I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Drain Designs. We had some pretty bad drainage problems around our house, with water pooling near the foundation and our gutters overflowing during heavy rains. Kevin, the owner of Drain Designs, came out and assessed the situation. He recommended installing drains in key spots, rerouting our gutter downspouts, and tying everything into an underground drainage system to move water away from the house. Kevin was totally hands-on, out there digging trenches and laying pipes himself every day. What I really appreciated was how he explained everything he was doing and why. He didn’t just slap things together – there was clearly a well-thought-out plan. And he was meticulous about putting everything back the way it was before, from the landscaping to the grass. Our yard looked great afterwards. All in all, Drain Designs did a fantastic job. The drainage issues we had are completely resolved and we couldn’t be happier. Very pleased to have chosen Drain Designs for our home! Kevin responded very quickly to our consult, which is difficult enough these days to get anyone to respond. He came out to look at our yard and listened to our concerns. He spent a large quantity of time assessing our gutters, land slope, pictures of our water runoff issues, and scoping out potential areas where massive amounts of water could be re-routed. Our quote came within 24 hours and was detailed and very easy to understand where our money was going. We could instantly tell how knowledgeable and passionate he is about his work. His aim is to do things the most cost-effective and efficient way, but also the most correct way to protect your home or landscape. He and his employee finished a fairly large job we had in a quick manner. They worked long hours every day, with his employee often staying behind to clean up the job site. One night, his employee even returned after going home to cover up sites before it rained. They were respectful of our home and worked extremely hard in the summer heat to finish this project for us. We can see a tremendous reduction in the amount of rain water eroding and collecting in our yard, going directly into the steel drain they placed and concreted. We feel good about spending money that will make a visible difference in the structural integrity of our house, pool, and yard.
