History and Experience
Drain Designs, formerly K Squared Masonry, is a franchised operation, owned by Kevin Kondas. Mr. Kondas has specialized in waterproofing, drainage and masonry/structural repair for over 30 years. He decided to focus on drainage and waterproofing after doing years of repair work that better drainage systems could have prevented.
Each franchise location is independently owned by the respective franchise owner. His award-winning masonry company performed the masonry work on projects that have been awarded such honors as Better Homes & Gardens Magazine 2009 Outdoor Improvement Winner and the cover of the Home Builders Association Remodeling Today Magazine, in the Triangles Best Remodelers 2012.

Amazing job!!!! We are extremely happy with the final project installed by Robert and his crew!! Our house is at the bottom of the street and when it rains our yard becomes a mud pit for the dogs!! You can imagine. We also noticed a lot of pooling of water from the downspouts. You know the saying ” you pay for what you get” is a true statement!!! We attempted to fix the problem with corrugated piping. It did not fix the problem and caused more frustration!!! Robert and his crew installed their product and within the first rainfall we noticed a huge difference and the yard was dry almost instantly!!!! Worth every penny, I just wish we called sooner!! Rob, Mark and Dalton did an excellent installation of drains in the yard, multiple downspout tie-ins and improving our crawl space drainage. The yard was minimally disturbed and what little that occurred was repaired flawlessly. The guys worked till 10 pm to beat the expected rain that night. The original home builder had made a few serious errors in drainage that only became evident after the digging commenced. Rob made corrections on the fly that took care of these issues. I would recommend this team to anyone with drainage issues.
